The Houston Public Library does not sponsor or endorse this meeting. The library has a parking lot with free parking. See the map below. The meeting will be in the carriage house across the parking lot from the main library building.

Note that snacks and refreshments will be provided. Attendance at this event may be used for one hour PDH credit for your TBPE continuing education ethics requirement. Certificates will be provided.

Brian Kilmer’s practice focuses on representing debtors, unsecured creditors’ committees and secured creditors in complex Chapter 11 cases in a wide array of industries in jurisdictions such as Texas, Delaware, New York, Michigan, Florida and Louisiana. Brian also regularly represents secured creditors in single asset cases, acquirers of distressed assets and debtors and secured creditors in out-of-court workouts. Additionally, Mr. Kilmer has extensive experience with general business litigation matters.

Shannon_Quadros

Shannon Quadros, an IEEE member since 1996 and former director of IEEE-Houston, is a shareholder at Kilmer Crosby & Walker PLLC. Shannon is a trial lawyer with a focus on construction and real-estate disputes as well as issues dealing with control over intellectual property before, during, and after the employment relationship. He served as Co-chair for the Houston Bar Association’s Minority Opportunity in Law Program for 2014-15 and serves in the HBA’s Gender Fairness Committee for 2016. Shannon serves as a mediator and arbitrator in Houston for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center and the BBB.
