Did you know that networking is responsible for most professional employment? A great way to network is to join a professional organization, like IEEE HCN! Complete and bring in an application form.
Bring it to a meeting or contact one of the directors to join. Better yet, assume a leadership position in the organization. It’s a great way to build contacts and show initiative.
If you are or plan to be a consultant, join the network. Do a friend a favor, invite him/her to attend and meet fellow Houston consultants. The regular meetings have no admission fee. Joining currently is a $25.00 one-time fee.
Do not forget to bring business cards for networking! Attendees may earn 1 of professional development credit. Certificates provided on request.
